WARDOGS does not publish player health or armor values and they have not been measured, so the calculator assumes none: enter any damage total you want to test.
30.82 base damage × 1 ammo multiplier = 30.82 per hit
Player health, armor protection and damage falloff at range are not captured yet, so this calculator does not show a time-to-kill. Results are for an unarmored target at about 20 m.
Headshot multipliers
MeasuredA headshot deals between ×1.1 and ×2.14 chest damage depending on the weapon group.
| Weapon group | Head × | Measured weapons (chest → head) |
|---|---|---|
| 9mm (SMGs and pistols) | ×1.82 | GGX 17 (25.42 → 46.22), GGX 18 (25.42 → 46.22), AMP-9 (25.43 → 46.21), MP5 (25.43 → 46.21), PP-19 Vityaz (25.43 → 46.21) |
| .50 AE (Deagle) | ×1.82 | Deagle (72.78 → 132.32) |
| .45 ACP | ×1.82 | M1911 (45.06 → 81.91), Super-45 (34.67 → 63.02) |
| Marksman rifles (SVD, BMR-308) | ×1.75 | BMR-308 (85.81 → 150.01), SKS (60.08 → 105.01), SVD (78.67 → 137.51) |
| Assault rifles (5.56, 5.45, .308 FAL) | ×2.14 | A-91 (30.81 → 65.82), AK74 (28.61 → 61.12), Bushmaster M17S (30.81 → 65.81), FAL (66.01 → 141.01), Galil (30.82 → 65.81), KH-2002 (30.82 → 65.82), M4 (30.82 → 65.82), T-21 (30.81 → 65.81) |
Multipliers are headshot damage divided by chest damage for the measured weapons in each group, FMJ against an unarmored target.
How ammo type changes damage
MeasuredEvery caliber tested shows the same fixed multipliers against an unarmored target, exact to two decimals.
| Ammo | Multiplier vs unarmored | M4 chest hit | Against armor |
|---|---|---|---|
| FMJ (FMJ) | ×1 | 30.82 | Not measured yet |
| Hollow Point (HP) | ×2 | 61.64 | Not measured yet |
| Armor Piercing (AP) | ×0.8 | 24.66 | Not measured yet |
Hollow point (HP) deals exactly ×2 and armor-piercing (AP) ×0.8 of FMJ damage against an unarmored target. On the M4, that means 30.82 per chest hit with FMJ, 61.64 with HP and 24.66 with AP.
Because the multipliers are the same for every caliber we tested, ammo never changes which gun hits harder, only how hard. HP is the clear pick against unarmored players; AP gives up part of that damage, and what it gains against armor has not been measured yet.
The Firing Range has no armored targets, so behavior against helmets and body armor is not in these numbers. It will be added once it can be measured reliably.
How we measured damage
MeasuredDamage was measured in the WARDOGS Firing Range on the tan 3D mannequin, which wears no armor, from about 20 m. Each weapon fired single shots at the upper torso and the head, the damage popup was read to two decimals, and the HUD weapon name was checked on every run.
Fire rate (RPM) is timed from the first shot until the HUD magazine counter empties on full auto, sampled about 20 times per second, and is accurate to about ±5%. DPS is chest damage per hit × RPM ÷ 60.
33 of 34 weapons have a clean damage reading so far. Weapons whose sights block the target or whose readings were inconsistent, such as 9K333 Verba, are left out rather than estimated.
MetaBot has measured damage for 33 of the 34 weapons in WARDOGS. The AMR 50 hits hardest at 211.87 chest damage per shot, while the GGX 18 sits at the bottom of the chart with 25.42. For sustained fire the PKM leads with 916 chest DPS. Hollow point ammo multiplies every hit by 2 and armor-piercing by 0.8 against an unarmored target, the same on every caliber tested. Headshots multiply chest damage by ×1.1 to ×2.14 depending on the weapon, and the AMR 50 has the strongest single headshot at 342.42. 1 weapons are still waiting for a clean damage reading.

WARDOGS damage FAQ
How much damage do guns do in WARDOGS?
Measured against an unarmored target with FMJ ammo, chest damage per hit ranges from 25.42 (GGX 18) to 211.87 (AMR 50). The chart above lists chest and head damage for all 33 measured weapons with FMJ, HP and AP ammo.
Does hollow point ammo do more damage in WARDOGS?
Yes. Against an unarmored target hollow point deals exactly ×2 FMJ damage on every caliber tested; the M4 goes from 30.82 to 61.64 per chest hit. How HP performs against armor has not been measured yet.
What does AP ammo do in WARDOGS?
Armor-piercing ammo deals ×0.8 FMJ damage against an unarmored target, so the M4 drops from 30.82 to 24.66 per chest hit. Its advantage against armored players is not measured yet because the Firing Range has no armored targets.
How much extra damage does a headshot do in WARDOGS?
A headshot deals ×1.1 to ×2.14 chest damage depending on the weapon group; the headshot multiplier table above lists each group with the measured weapons behind it. The strongest single headshot measured is the AMR 50 at 342.42.
How much health do players have in WARDOGS?
WARDOGS does not publish player health or armor values, and MetaBot has not measured them yet, so no time-to-kill numbers are shown. The damage calculator lets you enter any damage total and shows how many hits each weapon needs to reach it.
Which weapon has the highest DPS in WARDOGS?
The PKM has the highest measured chest DPS at 916 with FMJ against an unarmored target. With hollow point ammo that value is multiplied by 2.
