/worldborder set 2000- Makes the border 2,000 blocks wide (1,000 each way from the centre).
/worldborder center 0 0- Centres the border on 0, 0.
/worldborder set 500 600- Shrinks the border to 500 blocks over 600 seconds, the classic battle-royale squeeze.
