Job site block

An unemployed villager becomes a Leatherworker when it claims a Cauldron.

Cauldron

Place the block near an unemployed villager. Until you've traded with it, breaking the block lets it change profession — and re-roll its trades.

How trades are picked

  • At each level the villager draws trades from that level's pool without repeats; a trade its biome type can't offer is discarded and redrawn, so biome-locked trades are likelier for the villagers that can offer them.
  • Prices shown are the base. Demand is recalculated at every restock — it rises when a trade was used a lot and falls when it wasn't — and each point adds the trade's demand effect × base price (rounded down). Good reputation lowers the price by the same factor.
  • Trades marked with a biome are only offered by villagers of that type.
