How we calculate value
CalculatedValue is the class ranking metric divided by the per-life price, per $1,000: DPS for Assault Rifles, SMGs, LMGs; chest damage per hit with FMJ for Marksman Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Pistols. It is the same metric the tier list ranks on.
It is a calculation, not a verdict. Recoil, handling, range, magazine size and armor are not part of it, so a cheap gun that wins on value can still lose a fight it was not built for.
Prices are the full Equipment Vendor prices from a live match on September 25, 2026. New players see half price (the New Recruit discount) until WARDOG level 9.
Launcher rounds are bought separately, so launchers are not rated. Not on our vendor yet, so no price: A-91, KH-2002.
Across 31 priced WARDOGS guns, prices run from $200 for the GGX 17 to $8,800 for the AMR 50. Best value Assault Rifle: the T-21 at $600 (621.7 DPS per $1,000). Best value Submachine Gun: the AMP-9 at $900 (408.9 DPS per $1,000). Best value Light Machine Gun: the PKM at $4,500 (203.6 DPS per $1,000). Best value Marksman Rifle: the SKS at $2,400 (25 damage per hit per $1,000). Best value Sniper Rifle: the Scout Rifle TD at $1,100 (50.4 damage per hit per $1,000). Best value Shotgun: the MP43 at $400 (259.9 damage per hit per $1,000). Best value Pistol: the Judge at $250 (208 damage per hit per $1,000). The AMR 50 ranks 1 of 5 Sniper Rifles on measured damage per hit but 3 of 5 on value. Every death costs the price of your kit again, so a cheaper gun that does most of the job leaves more cash for armor and equipment.
