Zac Power Spikes (Patch 26.19)
MidWhen Zac Mid gets stronger, in the order it happens in a typical ranked game: ability unlocks from the most common skill order, item spikes at the median minute players finish them, and the game length Zac wins most.
- Lv 3All three basic abilities at level 3Zac's full combo is online — the first point where trading all-in is realistic.
- Lv 6Ultimate rank 1 at level 6The biggest early spike: look for a kill or a roam as soon as Zac hits it.
- Lv 11Ultimate rank 2 at level 11Lower ultimate cooldown means more fights Zac can start or win.
- Lv 16Ultimate rank 3 at level 16Lower ultimate cooldown means more fights Zac can start or win.
Item timings are medians: half of players finish later. Fall behind in farm and every item spike moves back with it.
Zac Mid Laning Plan
Zac plays an even lane: no extreme in gold, leads or scaling, so the matchup decides how hard to push. On average Zac Mid is 198 gold behind the lane opponent at 15 minutes and ahead in only 47% of games. Zac averages 1.24 solo kills by 15 minutes.

Zac Mid and Late Game
What Zac does better or worse than other champions after laning, from this patch's ranked games — percentiles where 100 is the highest of every champion.
Play to these strengths
- Zac heals a lot (percentile 99): extended fights and sieges favor Zac.
- Zac soaks damage well (percentile 92): stand between the enemy and your carries.
- Zac brings crowd control (percentile 88): start the fight or follow up on a teammate's engage.
Mistakes to avoid
- Zac is not a damage carry (15/100): don't take fights expecting Zac to win them alone.
Playing Zac
- Picking up goo chunks is very important to staying alive.
- When Cell Division is ready, try to die in a position that makes it difficult for the enemy team to kill your bloblets.
- Charging Elastic Slingshot from the fog of war will give opponents less time to react.
Playing Against Zac
- Zac heals from the goo that separates from him. You can crush the goo pieces by stepping on them.
- Kill all of Zac's bloblets when he splits apart to stop him from reforming.
- Silences, stuns, roots and knockups will all interrupt Zac when he is charging Elastic Slingshot.
