Every number here comes from the game's Monolith tables. The trace count per level is cumulative, so the step column is what one more level costs. Monolith stats are permanent and add up across all stones of your faction; the tracker totals what your current levels give. Collect the traces with the Empyrean Traces map first, then resonate them at the stone.

What are Monoliths in AION 2?

Monoliths are stones in each faction's regions where you resonate Empyrean Traces, the pickups scattered across the map on the ground, in the air and under water. Every level adds permanent stats and some add one-time item rewards. There are 6: Verteron Monolith, Eltnen Monolith, and Ereshkigal Monolith for Elyos and Altgard Monolith, Morheim Monolith, and Ereshkigal Monolith for Asmodians.

How do you unlock the Monoliths?

Each faction's stones open through a story quest: Empyrean Monolith (Elyos) and Empyrean Monolith (Asmodian).

How many Empyrean Traces do you need to max a Monolith?

The level table counts traces in total, not per level. For Elyos: Verteron Monolith needs 560 for level 30, Eltnen Monolith needs 45 for level 8, and Ereshkigal Monolith needs 300 for level 20.

What permanent stats do all Monoliths give?
