How to get a Prismana

There are three ways to add one of the 25 Prismana forms to your team.

Catch one during Prismana Flow

17 forms appear in the wild. The more Prismatic energy an area has, the better the chance, and at 10,500 energy one is guaranteed.

Forms with no wild source

8 forms have no wild location in the game files (Iris, Irisal, Glynsera, Sherro…), so the Pact, an event or an egg is the way to get them.

What Prismana are

Prismana is a special form of an Aniimo. 25 of the 95 species have one, 25 forms in total. A Prismana keeps its species’ base stats, but most have a different skill list.

It is not just a recolour: 17 Prismana forms have a different element from their normal form, which changes their weaknesses and matchups.

Prismana are not the same as Sparkling Aniimo. Sparkling is a separate rare mutation with a 1 in 20,000 chance in the game data, and a Prismana can be Sparkling too.

All 25 Prismana forms keep their normal form’s base stats exactly, so a Prismana is not stronger on stats. What changes: 17 switch element, which also changes their weaknesses, and 20 have a different skill list. None changes role.

How Prismana appear: Prismana Flow

Prismana appear during a Prismana Flow. Each area builds up Prismatic energy, and the more energy it has, the better the chance of a Prismana. The game describes each stage with the labels below; it gives no exact percentages.

Most wild Prismana spawn once per Flow and do not respawn, so check the location notes in the table below. The game files list these energy stages but not what raises an area’s energy, so this guide does not guess at it.

Prismana Pact: the 18 Prismana you can pick

Game data

The Prismana Pact event lets a Pathfinder pick one of these 18 Prismana for free and claim it on reaching the Wayfarer I title. The rules, quoted from the game, follow.

1. During the event, Pathfinders can select one Prismana Aniimo of their choice on the event screen. Once they reach the Wayfarer I title, they can claim the selected Aniimo. The selection can be changed at any time before it is claimed.

2. The claimed Aniimo will be in Prismana Form and have a randomly generated Personality. Once it has been claimed, the second phase, Prismana Pact, will unlock.

3. Once Prismana Pact unlocks, Pathfinders can continue collecting the Prismana Aniimo designated for the event. Registering each new type of Prismana Aniimo increases the corresponding Prismana Index completion.

4. If a Prismana Aniimo claimed in Phase 1 is included in the Prismana Pact Index, it will also count toward completion. Obtaining the same type of Prismana Aniimo more than once will not increase progress again.

5. When Prismana Index completion reaches the specified milestones, the corresponding phase rewards can be claimed.

6. Pathfinders can select View Index on the event screen to check their current Prismana Aniimo registrations and continue searching for any types they have not yet registered.

As you encounter more Prismana Aniimo, your Prismana Pact will grow more complete. Continue registering Prismana Aniimo to raise your Prismana Index progress. Reach specified registration milestones to claim milestone rewards.

Which Prismana are hardest to get later

8 Prismana forms have no wild location in the game files, so a one-off source such as an event pick or an egg may be the only way to get them.
