I am disappointed in Empyrean Lord Marchutan. I believed his mission would allow me to save this Atreia. I believed that as a Fate Archon following him, I could save Atreia. But the Empyrean Lord was powerless. Helpless in the face of every disaster. A Daeva cannot live on mission alone. It does not save lives. The Empyrean Lord grants the ability to fly, but what of the reality that dooms one's flight to a fall? No matter how much one prays, Empyrean Lord Marchutan could not change fate. And so I simply seek another path. Is it not natural to discard useless missions in the process? The Empyrean Lord was, after all, incompetent. It seems he never anticipated that the blade aimed at him would come from behind rather than the front. "We" have decided to follow Dragon Lord Fafnir. They will allow us to live on.
