It seems like quite some time has passed since we fled here. I thought no one would know we were hiding here. Arkanis was never a Daeva base, so the Balaur would likely not know of it either. It's quiet now, but the situation is grim. Nearly all the Daeva who could fight are dead. Those who remain here can no longer fight. The weapons left behind are all on the verge of breaking. Will the Empyrean Lord not save us? When will this Bulwark they speak of be completed? The commander told us not to give up and stepped outside briefly for a patrol. I can hear a Dredgion outside.
