Word for word from the game client.

... Blood, the smell of explosives, and death, so much of it. Life lost again today. Each time one of my comrades leaves, only a faint scream returns. And then silence. ... Eventually, the last one finally left me. His wings were bent, his body covered in filth. His body felt warm in my arms for a moment, but it was just his blood. Once all the warm blood had fled his body, his death struck me like a blow to the back of the head. As his body began to grow cold and clammy, I could do nothing but sink to the ground and let the tears flow. O Yustiel! Why will you not give me any strength? You would allow me to watch my comrades be trapped in this tainted world and cut off from the flow of Odyle? At that moment, a warm energy began to pulse inside my chest. A soothing light surrounded my body, making me feel as though the dead man in my arms had returned to life for just a moment. That was the power of Life, and the grace of AION. Indeed, Yustiel had answered me when I was at my most desperate, and so I became the final Ascended Life Daeva.
