The Day the Forest Burned I glimpsed the high priest among the burning trees. It was as though his soul was burning away with the trees. I still hear the screams now. Fafnir has won. People place all the blame on the high priest and Empyrean Lord Zikel. They have no idea what sacrifices the Destruction Archons made to defend this land. A Dark Day Hiding, slowly wasting away. Sometimes I help people if they need it. A child at Briskwind Shelter smiled when I gave her food. Will this atone for my sins? Each night, I see the high priest burning anew. I don't deserve happiness. I must suffer for what I've done.
