Manuals FAQ
Where do you buy manuals in The Blood of Dawnwalker?
48 of the 49 manuals are stocked by at least one shop with a known map position — 19 such shops in all, shown on the map above and listed per manual in the table with the story day each starts selling.
What does a manual unlock?
A manual makes a skill or a Focus ability available to learn. Swordmastery gates 18 of its 24 skills behind a manual and Witchcraft 16 of 21; the table names the manual for each.
Do Vampirism skills need manuals?
No. Vampirism opens as Coen feeds and his corruption rises; manuals only cover Swordmastery and Witchcraft.
What do Focus ability manuals unlock?
15 of the 49 manuals unlock a Focus ability rather than a skill-tree entry. They sit in the same shops as the skill manuals and are listed under the Focus abilities filter above.
