The AION 2 database, built from the global client

AION 2 is NCSOFT's free-to-play sequel to AION, built on Unreal Engine 5 and out worldwide on Steam: Founder's early access opened on September 30, 2026, and free-to-play access followed on October 5, 2026. You pick a side, Elyos or Asmodian, ascend as a Daeva in one of Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Cleric, and Chanter, and fight for the Tower of Eternity on the ground and in the sky.

Everything here is read from the game files: 2,024 weapons, armor and accessories with their fixed and random stats, 280 class skills with per-level tooltips, 3,670 monsters and 48 bosses with real drop chances, 219 dungeons, 1,043 quests, 512 crafting recipes and 206 Hidden Cubes placed on nine world maps.

Most AION 2 sites were built on the Korean and Taiwanese versions, which are months ahead of the global servers in content. This database comes from the global client, so item stats, drop tables and zone names match what you will see in game.

AION 2 FAQ

What is AION 2?

AION 2 is a free-to-play MMORPG from NCSOFT and the sequel to AION. Two factions, the Elyos and the Asmodians, fight over the Tower of Eternity, and flight is part of both exploration and combat. The global client ships Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Cleric, and Chanter.

When did AION 2 launch globally?

AION 2 launched worldwide with Founder's early access on September 30, 2026, followed by free-to-play access on Steam on October 5, 2026. The Korean and Taiwanese versions came first, so this database uses the global client to reflect what international players get.

How many classes are in AION 2?

The global client has eight playable classes: Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Cleric, and Chanter. Each has 35 skills, five Daevanion boards and a main weapon, and both factions can play every class.

Is AION 2 free to play?

Yes. AION 2 is listed on Steam as free to play with optional in-game purchases, and it runs on PC.

Where are the Hidden Cubes in AION 2?

The global client places 206 Hidden Cubes across the Elyos and Asmodian continents. Each cube spawns at one of several fixed spots, so our Hidden Cube map shows every possible location per cube.

What dungeons and raids does AION 2 have?

The global client lists 16 party dungeons for groups of up to five and 3 raids: Abyssal Forge: Ludra, Chalice of Muspel, and Corroded Decontamination Facility. There are also Ascension Trials such as Nightmare Altar, sealed dungeons in the open world, daily and growth dungeons, and ascension story instances.

What AION 2 tools are on MetaBot.GG?

Besides the database there is a character Armory that searches every server, combat-power leaderboards, a build planner for each of the 8 classes, the Daevanion Planner, an Enhancement Calculator, a stat calculator and live timers for festivals, invasions and sieges. Every build can be shared as a link.

Is there an AION 2 app, addon or overlay?

MetaBot's free desktop companion app for AION 2 puts the interactive map, Farm Finder, a Hidden Cube tracker and daily and weekly reset timers in a window next to the game. It is a reference tool, not an automation bot: it never plays the game for you.

Where does this AION 2 data come from?

We read the game's own data tables from the global client (build 0.0.4387.0): item stats, skill values, drop chances, spawn positions and the game's own translations. Numbers we derive from them, like expected enhancement cost, are marked as calculated and explained on the methodology page.

Drop chances come from 117,291 datamined reward rows and can change with patches. AION is a trademark of NCSOFT Corporation.
