AION 2 Daily and Weekly Checklist: Every Reset and Cap

AION 2 daily and weekly checklist from the global client: the Wednesday reset, every entry counter and refill cycle, and how many days each can bank.

The AION 2 daily and weekly checklist is really a list of counters. Almost everything worth doing at level 45 is metered by a ticket in the client's ContentsTicket table: some refill once a day, some a little every few hours, some only on the weekly reset. Each one has a cap, and once a counter is full, every refill after that is thrown away. Knowing which caps are tight is the difference between a relaxed week and one where you log in every night out of fear.

We pulled every counter from the global client: its refill cycle, its cap, whether it is tracked per character or per server, and the items that top it up. Below you get the reset timing, the daily and weekly lists as checkboxes, the full refill table with how many days each counter can sit before it overflows, and a sample week.

When is the weekly reset in AION 2?

Every weekly counter in the global client refills on Wednesday. The ContentsTicket table stores the weekly refill and the daily refill at the same time of day (16:00 on the server clock), so the weekly reset lands on Wednesday's daily refill. Season boundaries follow the same rule: the Global Season 1 Daeva Pass runs from Wednesday, September 30 to Wednesday, December 16, both at 16:00.

The Korean service resets at 05:00, and the Korean-era pass rows in the same table do end at 05:00. The global rows do not. NCSOFT has not published which time zone the global server clock runs on, so we will not convert 16:00 into your local time for you. The in-game tooltips show a "Daily recharge in" and "Weekly recharge in" countdown on every counter; trust that countdown over any converted time.

AION 2 daily checklist: what to do every day

This is the list for a level 45 character. None of it takes long once you know where the caps are, and most of it can be skipped for a few days if you have to (see the overflow table further down).

  • Duty Missions: complete 5. There are 206 Wanted bounties such as Wanted: Worshiper Dekish, each paying 50,000 bound Kinah and 1,000 Abyss Points.
  • Nightmare: use your 2 attempts on the lowest tier you have not cleared. An attempt is only spent on a clear, so wipes are free practice.
  • Odyle Energy: spend it before it caps. 120 a day pays for three 40-energy Conquest cubes at dungeons like Draupnir or Ferocious Horn Den.
  • Transcendence: run Deus Research Base or Shattered Arkanis once you meet the item level 1,600 gate. Reward counts refill 1 every 12 hours.
  • Shugo Festival keys: 3 a day, spent when you claim a festival reward.
  • Dimensional Invasion key: 1 a day, part of the Abyss content.
  • Spacetime Rifts: optional. Rift portals in Verteron, Eltnen, Altgard and Morheim respawn on a 3-hour cycle, and rifts are your trickle of Abyss Points once the weekly limit is reached.

AION 2 weekly checklist: what to do after the Wednesday reset

Weekly counters are different from daily ones in one important way: their cap equals the weekly refill. Three Ascension Trial entries refill to three, not to six. Anything you did not spend by Wednesday is simply gone, so these are the ones to finish first.

  • Sanctuary raids: 4 attempts per raid, spent on entry. Abyssal Forge: Ludra allows 1 final-boss kill a week; Corroded Decontamination Facility and Chalice of Muspel allow 2 each.
  • Ascension Trial: 3 entries across Nightmare Altar and its five sister dungeons, spent on entry, solo.
  • Subjugation: 3 tickets for the 4-player dungeons such as Subjugation Closed, spent on entry.
  • Exploration: 7 reward counts per Expedition dungeon, e.g. Krao Cave. Krao Cave and Urugugu Canyon cubes cost only 20 Odyle Energy, so they are cheap Enhance Stones for alts.
  • Daily dungeon: 14 Unknown Fissure entries a week for Daeva Bio-Research Base, shared per server. Two a day is the steady pace.
  • Abyss: 7 hours in each of Chaotic Lower Reshanta, Chaotic Middle Reshanta and Upper Reshanta. The tooltip: "Basic usage time will be reset to 7 hours after the weekly reset."
  • Growth dungeons: 7 hours each in Silent Graveyard and Fafnite Amphitheater, counted only while inside.
  • Daeva Pass: reach the 50,000 pass EXP weekly limit on the Season 1 pass (15,000 on the launch event pass) before the reset.
  • Season Mission: weekly rewards pay out on accumulated points at the reset, and the points then start over.
  • Caps to watch, not chase: 35 Conquest and 28 Transcendence final-boss kills a week, and 10 unclaimed cubes per server.

Dungeon entries reset: every counter and its refill cycle

Here is every counter a level 45 player touches, straight from the ticket table. The last column is the one that matters for planning: how many days of refills the counter can hold before the next refill is wasted. Daily-refill counters bank; weekly ones do not.

AION 2 content counters and refill cycles (ContentsTicket table, global client)

The pattern is neat once you see it. Every daily-refill counter except Odyle Energy and Shugo keys holds exactly a week, so you can clear them in one long session. Odyle Energy is the tight one: it overflows after 4 days and 16 hours without the subscription. The subscription's caps (840 energy, 21 keys) stretch both to a full week too.

Recharge tickets and Instant Clear: stretching your caps

Every counter can be topped up with an item, and the tooltips explain the order: "Basic count is deducted first", then the item-added count. The client caps item charges separately (30 extra for Nightmare and the Ascension Trial, 10 for Conquest, Transcendence and raid counts, 2,000 for Odyle Energy), and it refuses a charge past that with "Cannot charge further due to charge limit being reached."

Instant Clear is the other time saver. Once you have cleared the daily dungeon or a Nightmare boss, an Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon or Instant Clear Ticket: Nightmare claims the same clear reward again from the completion window, up to 50 at a time. Each one still spends an attempt, and the client warns that using it from the Nightmare lobby earns no Rank Points.

Duty Missions and Duty Commands

Duty quests are the backbone of the daily Kinah and Abyss Point routine. The client splits them into two kinds, and they behave differently.

  • Duty Missions (the Wanted bounties): 206 of them, unlocked at level 45. You can hold up to 20, but only 5 completions a day pay out, and that limit is owned by the server rather than the character. Each pays 50,000 bound Kinah and 1,000 Abyss Points.
  • Duty Commands: 577 scroll-based quests, also up to 20 held at once. Most pay 1,000 or 2,000 Abyss Points; some add Abyssal Power Shards. You can redraw a Command up to 10 times, at a Kinah cost that climbs from 1,000 to 300,000.

Abyss Points also have a weekly gain limit, tracked separately for PvE and PvP, which resets on Wednesday. The HUD tooltip says that once you reach it, "only a small amount of additional Abyss Points can be obtained through Spacetime Rifts", and that "the cumulative limit increases after the weekly reset". Our Kinah farming guide covers where the Duty Kinah fits in your budget.

Nightmare boss challenge: the daily boss attempts

Nightmare is the solo boss ladder: 26 bosses with 10 tiers each, recommended power from 1,000 to 4,950. You get 2 attempts a day, banked up to 14, and per the tooltip "Attempt count will be deducted upon clearing". Rewards are Phantasmal Fragments for the Nightmare Shop: a first clear pays 500 at Gatekeeper Pinopi tier 1 and up to 3,950 at the top, and repeat clears pay 100 to 1,010. Since failures are free, spend both attempts on the next uncleared tier every day; once a tier is cleared, Instant Clear Tickets can handle the repeats.

Opening bosses like Furious Feruk sit at the bottom; the full ladder and unlock chain are on our bosses pages and in the endgame guide.

Abyss field bosses: the weekly schedule

The Abyss has the only fixed weekly spawn schedule in the client's period-spawn table. Times are on the server clock, so use them for the day of the week and check the in-game timer for the hour.

What has no counter: hidden cubes, gathering and Sealed Dungeons

Some of the best filler in AION 2 is not metered at all, which makes it the right thing to do while a counter refills.

  • Hidden cubes: there are 206 hidden cubes on the field maps, each spawning at one of several candidate spots (3,722 spots in total). Track the ones you have found on the interactive map.
  • Gathering: 27 node types in 8 material groups (Odyle, ore, gems, wood, herbs, vegetables, berries, shellfish). The ticket table has no gathering counter, so gather on the way between dungeons and feed your crafting. Our gathering page lists every node and zone.
  • Sealed Dungeons: 161 solo instances with no entry counter, each with a clear reward that includes 15,000 bound Kinah. Our dungeon guide covers them alongside every other dungeon type.

A sample week: how to plan around the reset

  1. 1
    Wednesday, after the reset

Spend the counters that do not bank first: raid attempts, Ascension Trial, Subjugation, Exploration and the first Abyss hours. Book your raid night now; four attempts go quickly while a group is still learning the fights.

  2. 2
    Every day

Duty Missions, both Nightmare attempts, Odyle Energy into Conquest or Transcendence cubes, Shugo and Invasion keys, and two daily dungeon entries.

  3. 3
    Busy days

Skip freely: Nightmare, Conquest and Transcendence counts all hold a week. Just do not leave Odyle Energy sitting at the cap for more than a few hours.

  4. 4
    Weekend

Catch up the Abyss hours and push Nightmare tiers. Check the field boss days above if you want a shot at Guardian Lord Nahma. Put spare Kinah into enhancement.

  5. 5
    Tuesday, before the reset

Spend everything weekly: leftover Ascension Trial entries, Subjugation tickets, Exploration counts, daily dungeon entries and Abyss time. Top up the Daeva Pass to its weekly EXP cap. Anything unspent is gone on Wednesday.

Guide FAQ

When is the weekly reset in AION 2?

Weekly counters refill on Wednesday. The global client stores the weekly and daily refill at the same server-clock time, 16:00, but NCSOFT has not said which time zone the global clock uses, so check the in-game Weekly recharge countdown. 05:00 is the reset time of the Korean service, not the global one.

What should I do every day in AION 2?

Complete 5 Duty Missions, use both Nightmare attempts, spend Odyle Energy on Conquest or Transcendence cubes before it caps, and use Shugo Festival and Dimensional Invasion keys. Two daily dungeon entries a day uses up the weekly 14 at an even pace.

Do dungeon entries carry over in AION 2?

Weekly entries do not. Raid attempts, Ascension Trial entries, Subjugation tickets and Exploration counts refill to their cap on Wednesday, so unused ones are lost. Daily-refill counters do bank: Nightmare, Conquest and Transcendence counts hold a full week.

How much Odyle Energy do you get per day?

Odyle Energy refills 15 every 3 hours, which is 120 a day, and holds 560, or 840 with the subscription. Most Conquest and Transcendence cubes cost 40, so that is three cubes a day. Odyle Energy items add 40 or 10 more.

How many Duty Missions can you do per day?

Five Duty Missions pay out per day, and the limit is counted per server rather than per character. Each one pays 50,000 bound Kinah and 1,000 Abyss Points. You can hold up to 20 at once.

Is the daily dungeon limited per character?

No. The Unknown Fissure entry count that the daily dungeon uses is marked as applied per server. It refills 14 entries every Wednesday and is spent when you enter.
