How the calculator works
Every craftable item in Permafrost has one recipe: ingredients, a result amount, a craft time and the bench it needs. Build parts have a build cost instead. The calculator walks each ingredient's own recipe until only looted or gathered materials remain.
Turn off "Craft intermediate ingredients" to treat things like rope or ingots as items you already have — useful when you buy them from a trader or pull them from a container.
Your plan is stored in the page URL, so you can bookmark it or send it to a friend. Numbers come from the Early Access preview build and are refreshed after launch.

How do I use the Permafrost crafting calculator?

What does "craft intermediate ingredients" do?
On, every ingredient with its own recipe is broken down further (rope becomes cloth). Off, intermediates count as materials you already have.
How is total craft time calculated?
Each recipe's craft time multiplied by the number of crafts needed, summed across the chain. It assumes one bench at a time.
What is the most material-heavy craft in Permafrost?
