The world is split into 10 loot regions (House Camp, Maple Island, Bunker, Central Park, Skyscrapers, Solars, Technocrats, Urban District, White Hell, Woods) with 38 named places and 6 fast-travel points (Home, Last Stand, Church, Crow's Nest, Horizon, Solar Fields).
