Ranked rules

Game data
  • UnlockRanked opens after 3 casual matches.
  • Talent draftBefore each ranked match you have 30 seconds to choose one owned talent per card. The opponent can't see your picks.
  • DeckExactly 4 cards, all on the board from turn one.
  • Turn timer15 seconds per card still alive plus 20 — 80 seconds with a full board.
  • OvertimeFrom round 20, every card loses a growing share of its max HP at the start of its owner's turn, so stalled games end.
  • Other modesCasual, training against the AI, the tutorial, friend challenges and tournaments.

The official Saturday Tournament runs every week. Registered players are ranked by stars and split into brackets of similar level; empty spots are filled by AI opponents, which win no rewards. Every bracket pays the same rewards, and the winner earns the Saturday Champion badge.

Daily, weekly and monthly missions pay Crystals and other rewards; the Premium Pass doubles them. A sample from the game client:

Ranked SPAM climbs through 6 ranks of 15 stars each, from Bronze to Legend, and opens after 3 casual matches. The ranked-only talent draft gives you 30 seconds to set each card's talent — check the talent pages beforehand so the draft is a formality.

What are the ranks in SPAM?

There are 6 ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Crystal, Celeste, Legend. Each rank spans 15 stars, and Legend starts at 76 stars.

When does ranked unlock in SPAM?

After 3 casual matches.

How does the talent draft work?

Before a ranked match you get 30 seconds to choose one of your owned talents for each card. Talents are hidden from your opponent.

What is the SPAM Saturday Tournament?

An official weekly tournament. Players are grouped into brackets by stars, AIs fill empty spots, and every bracket pays the same rewards plus a Saturday Champion badge for the winner.

How many stars do I get for a win?

The star changes per match are decided by the game server and aren't in the game client, so we can't list them reliably.
