Aniimo Eggs Guide: Every Egg, Hatch Times and How to Get a Wonder Egg

Eggs are the surest way to a strong Aniimo without catching it yourself: some guarantee Elite potential, some a mutation, some a rare form. Here is every egg players can actually get, where the egg chests are, what each egg promises in the game's own words, and how long it takes to hatch.

How hatching works: Outpost and Home Hatchinators

A Hatchinator hatches any eggs you own within a 10-meter radius. Outpost Hatchinators stand out in the world; the Home Hatchinator is in your Homeland. Most eggs work in both, but the Egg of Prayers, Prismana Egg, Thunderstorm Egg and Legendary Egg are Outpost only. Aniimo egg locations: the 12 placed egg chests

The game has an Incredible Egg and an Alpha Egg item for many regions, but only some of their chests are placed on the map. These are the ones that are. The egg locations map pins each chest.

Wonder Egg: how to get one

The Wonder Egg is a legendary material that "will hatch into an Aniimo with at least the Alpha or Sparkling mutation", in an Outpost or Home Hatchinator. The guaranteed source is a Home quest:

   Unlock the quest

   A Grand Feast is part of the Home festival storyline and follows Festival Lanterns.

   Cook the six dishes

   Jojo wants Tanghulu, Maple Apple Jam, Lavender Cookies, Umbral Pickles, Umbral Hot Pot and a Harvest Platter, all made at your Home cooking stations.

   Hand them in

   Finishing A Grand Feast pays a Wonder Egg and Moonray Wheat, both at 100%.

   Hatch it

   Place it by any Hatchinator; the timer appears once it is placed.

The item also lists Nurture Branch and Holo-Battle Interlink as sources. Two reward chests that are not on the map contain one too: one gives a Wonder Egg or an Incredible Egg at 50% each, the other bundles it with Dream Spark, Moonray Wheat and gifts, with no rate shown.

Rarer eggs you won't find in chests

None of these sit in a placed chest. Sources are quoted from the item data; blanks are left blank.

For the Alpha Bolty Egg, hide behind the Blitz Tree in Blitzwood at night and wait. The Mysterious Aniimo Egg comes back from Aniimo trips: at most one per trip, more likely on longer trips. Catch Completion also feeds Sparkling Eggs, so the catching guide helps here too.

Aniimo egg hatch times

Hatch times from the game's egg table. Each habitat egg hatches one fixed species; its Incredible version hatches the same species with Elite potential or higher.

Hatching runs in real time, so match egg length to how long you'll be away.

   Loot the chest route

   Clear the placed chests on the egg locations map. Highland and Grassland chests give 10-minute eggs; Incredible and Alpha chests carry the better guarantees.

   Short eggs while you play

   Habitat eggs (10 min) and their Incredible versions (30 min) finish inside a session.

   Long eggs before you log off

   Four- and five-hour eggs fit an evening break; the 12-hour Egg of Prayers and 24-hour Dreamy Egg go overnight. Outpost-only eggs go to an Outpost Hatchinator.
