How it works (in-game guide)
Quoted from the game's own tutorial log.
You gain XP by defeating mobs and completing quests.
As you gain more XP, you level up and become more powerful - but beware, so do mobs!
Every level up, you're rewarded with 1 Enchantment Point and your chance of finding rare and more powerful items increases.
At level 5, a second artifact slot is unlocked.
At level 10, a third artifact slot is unlocked.
Your power level is determined by the power level of your equipped items. This will effect how powerful you are towards mobs and how much damage they do to you.
Recommended levels by region: Brave Haven (1), Honeycomb Fields (2), Howling Woods (6), The Deep Dark (14), Rainy Plains (21), Frozen Highlands (26), Humbler Huskland (36), Lullaby Hills (42). At level 15, spend 300 Emerald, 50 Spring Stone and 4 enchantment books to upgrade the Merchant and Enchantsmith.
