How to use Surplus

Calculated

Surplus adds 10% more Catalysts per kill at rank I, 12.5% at rank II and 15% at rank III. Its three copies sit in chests in Valley of Ashes, Caverns and The Outskirts, so the full bonus only comes in region VII.

It costs nothing in a fight except an Amber slot, so it fits whenever you are farming or saving for levels: at 15%, every 10,000 Catalysts from kills becomes 11,500. Swap it out for a combat Amber before boss fights, and pair it with Warrior's Fury to move between groups faster.

Written from the Amber's own parameters, where its copies are placed and its listed pairings; rank II values marked as interpolated are estimates between rank I and rank III.
