November 12th
The tincture is prepared, three subjects secured. All of them healthy, strong - and judging by their cries, still sane.
November 13th
The draught was administered. The first convulsed, lingering beyond nature's allowance. His eyes implored for mercy until, I presume, he understood his pleas were futile. Awaiting the draught to take full effect by tomorrow at the latest.
November 14th
The first one perished with dreadful shrieks and spasms. Yet the flesh remains warm, unwilling to heed death's decree. That means I stand nearer to success than ever!
Two subjects remain, so much yet to be done.
