We are the Seven who refused the Purple Vial.
We witnessed our comrades become monstrous things of war — loyal still, yet no longer truly men. Though we remain devoted to the Emperor and the Empire, we shall never drink of corruption.
We are not cowards. We are the last guardians of the human soul within the Grande Armée. Better an honourable death than victory bought with damnation.
Thus, we swear to protect the cargo with our life and cross blades with anyone who dares to approach us while we do so!
Each Oathbound bears seven vows: Silence. Duty. Mercy. Steel. Vigilance. Endurance. Death before corruption.
So long as one Oathbound yet breathes, the empire shall never stand undefended.
