AION 2 Wing Enhancement Guide: Cost to +10 & Best Wings

AION 2 wing enhancement looks like gear enhancement, but it pays out in a different place. Raising a pair of wings does not touch the stats you get while wearing them. It raises the wing's level, and the level feeds the owned effect, the small permanent bonus every pair gives you just for being in your collection.

This guide reads every number from the global client's wing upgrade table, the same data behind the upgrade calculator on each page of our wings database. It covers the cost to reach +10 for each grade, the Unique success rates and pity, exactly which owned stats grow with level, which wings are worth enhancing first, and the best wings to wear for PvE and PvP. Numbers are as of October 2026.

How wing enhancement works in AION 2

Every wing grade shares one upgrade track, so all 13 Unique wings cost the same to raise, as do the 7 Epic and the 4 Rare pairs. The other four wings have no track at all: Lesser Daeva Wings, the Common starter pair, and the three Special cosmetic pairs. Each attempt costs three things: Kinah (the client's Kina (All) wallet, which spends bound Kina first), Sync Stone (Unique) (Bound) and Enhance Stone.

Rare and Epic totals are exact because every step succeeds. The Unique totals are averages that include pity. Maxing every upgradable wing in the collection would cost about 273 million Kinah on average, so nobody needs to do it all at once.

Unique wing enhancement: success rate, pity and cost per level

Unique wings are the only ones that can fail. The first three levels always succeed; from +4 the base chance drops, and each failed attempt adds +10% to the next try at the same level until it succeeds. A failure costs that attempt's materials but never lowers the wing's level.

What wing level actually gives you: owned effect by level

This is the part most players miss. Every Rare, Epic and Unique pair gains +10 Flight Power per level, from +200 at +0 to +300 at +10 (the Daeva-series pairs go from +500 to +600). For all 13 Unique wings, Flight Power is the only owned stat that grows: Nightmare Wings, for example, keep exactly Boss Attack +20, Boss Defense +300 and PvE Damage Boost +1% from +0 to +10. Most Epic and Rare wings are different, because they unlock one extra owned stat at +1 that grows every level.

Warrior Wings (Epic), Fairy's Dream Wings (Rare) and every Unique pair grow Flight Power only. Lesser Daeva Wings stay at Flight Power +2,000 and HP +50 whatever their level. Our data lists one fixed set of equipped stats per pair, so a +10 pair and a +0 pair give the same stats while worn.

Which wings to enhance first

Since every level buys owned stats, the best order is the one that buys the most useful stat per Kinah. Using the costs and owned effects above, this is the order the data supports:

   Epic wings with a stat you use

   5,960,000 Kinah, 53 Sync Stones and 23,040 Enhance Stones, guaranteed, for the full extra stat. PvE players get the most from Spirit Wings (PvE Defense +300); Superior Daeva Wings (Critical Hit Resist +100), Conqueror Wings (Evasion Bonus +100) and Sealing Wings (Block +100) suit anyone who takes hits.

   Intermediate Daeva Wings

   The cheapest big number in the table: HP +500 owned for the Rare track's 3,494,000 Kinah, plus Flight Power +100 on top of their starting +500.

   Glorious or Odyle Wings for healers and sustain

   Incoming Heal or Regeneration rises from +0.3% to +3% over ten guaranteed levels.

4. 4
   Unique wings to +3

   Guaranteed and cheap: 1,440,000 Kinah, 12 Sync Stones and 4,800 Enhance Stones per pair, but it only adds +30 Flight Power.

5. 5
   Unique +4 to +10 last

   About 15.3 million Kinah and 125 Sync Stones on average per pair for the last +70 Flight Power. Only worth it once everything else is done.

• [Sync Stone (Unique) (Bound)](/aion-2/items/sync-stone-unique-bound): dungeon loot from Krao Cave, Urugugu Canyon, Vakron Sky Island, Ferocious Horn Den, Fire Temple and Draupnir, plus conversion and the battle pass. It cannot be traded.
• [Enhance Stone](/aion-2/currencies/enhance-stone): a clear reward in 130 dungeons, led by Daeva Bio-Research Base at 10,000 per clear and Nightmare Altar at 3,500 on every difficulty. 49 monsters drop it too, such as Ultimate Berk with 2,000 at a 100% chance, and 33 achievements award it. Gear enhancement uses the same stones.

Best wings for PvE and PvP

Since level only feeds the owned effect, the wings you wear are chosen by their fixed equipped stats. These are the strongest pairs by role, with the owned bonus each one keeps adding even when it sits in your collection:

What do top players actually wear? Among the 3,016 tracked level 45 characters whose equipped wings we have read in our armory (as of October 8, 2026), 71% wear Ultimate Daeva Wings and 11.5% wear Forest Spirit Wings, followed by Superior Daeva Wings (3.3%), Ancient Aullaeu Wings (3.1%), Black Fragment Wings (2.6%) and Dark Veil Wings (2.2%). The Forest Spirit group sits higher on the boards, with a median Combat Power of 101,579 against 80,160 for Ultimate Daeva wearers. The official profiles report every one of those equipped pairs at +0, so we can't yet see how far players push their wing levels.
