SPAM Ranked Guide: Ranks, Stars and the Talent Draft

Ranked is SPAM's competitive ladder. It uses the same four-card matches as casual with one addition, a talent draft before each match, and it tracks your progress in stars across six ranks from Bronze to Legend.

The ranks

Stars won or lost per match are decided by the server and aren't in the game client, so we don't list them. Rank crests and details are on the ranks page.

The talent draft

Casual matches use the talent saved on each card. In ranked, a 30-second draft before the match lets you choose each card's active talent from those you have unlocked. Use it: a defensive talent like Cavalry or a resistance shield is often better than a greedy one when you can't predict the opponent.

Climbing tips

   Play one deck

   A deck you know well beats a stronger deck you pilot badly. Pick one from the deck tier list and stick with it.

   Respect the shop

   Plan your Tox purchases and use your ban on the family the opponent's deck relies on.

   Count cooldowns

   Long-cooldown finishers like Final Delight (cooldown 10) come once a match; play around them.

   Watch the clock

   Your turn timer is 15 seconds per card you have plus 20. Fewer cards means less time.

Tournaments

SPAM also runs tournaments: custom lobbies with single or double elimination, best-of-1 or best-of-3, and locked, draft or fearless deck rules, plus scheduled Saturday brackets with rewards.
