How Shadow works

Shadow cards use Shadow damage, and every Shadow point you have adds 10% to it, for the whole match. That makes Shadow decks strongest when several cards build the same pool.

The Shadowheart Tox is the simplest way to build that pool: from 1 point per turn at Common (15 Spamtons) up to 8 at Legendary (120 Spamtons). On some arenas the terrain also gives both players +5 Shadow points.

8 Shadow cards make their own points, led by Shadow Spirit, Shadow King and Faerylia.

Shadowheart: the Shadow Heart Tox

Game data

Bought in the in-match Tox Shop. It adds Shadow points at the start of each of your turns.

Shadowheart

Rarity	Points per turn	Price	Held from turn 1
Common	+1	15 ⬢	+100% Shadow damage by turn 10
Rare	+2	30 ⬢	+200% Shadow damage by turn 10
Epic	+5	60 ⬢	+500% Shadow damage by turn 10
Legendary	+8	120 ⬢	+800% Shadow damage by turn 10

The last column assumes the Heart is held from turn 1; bought later, it has fewer turns to stack. Higher rarities show up more often in the shop as your Luck grows.
