How to get Frenzied Flame

Game data

In-game condition: “Ignite the bonfire in the castle.”

Frenzied Flame asks you to ignite the bonfire in the castle. The castle is the Fortress: the game's own region description calls it a ruined castle repurposed as an arsenal by Napoleon's forces, and Chapter IX ends with you stepping into its ruins. Find the unlit bonfire there and set it alight; the Fire Transmutation you have carried since Chapter I is the obvious tool.

Our data has no map marker for the bonfire, so explore the Fortress thoroughly. Its Lanterns are Main Gate, Traverse, Chapel, Ramparts, Courtyard and High Tower, and few players have found the bonfire so far.

Can you miss Frenzied Flame?

What can lock this achievement out on a playthrough, according to the game data.

Do it before Napoleon's Prison. Neither the Prison nor Entropy has fast travel, so there is no Lantern route back to the Fortress afterwards.
