The Book of Beasts unlocks when you complete Monster Hunt, a City of Orphans side quest about the children's monster drawings. There are 17 to find: the Sphinx, an Eternal Guard, a Volunteer, a Carrion, a Remnant of the Iron Regiment, a Sapeur, a Howler, a Grenadier, a Swarm Mother, a Lancer, an Unknown Figure, an Unknown Monstrosity, a Risen Soldier, General Lothaire, Shambling Civilians, the Slaughtermill and an Abomination.
The drawings are quest items tied to City of Orphans in the game files, but our data has no map marker for them, so search the region thoroughly around its three Lanterns: Tribunal Square, Shamble Street and the Sewers. When the last drawing is found, the journal closes the quest.
