How to get We Wear the Same Colours
Game dataIn-game condition: “Complete the Oathbound quest.”
We Wear the Same Colours unlocks when you complete The Oathbound, the side-quest achievement fewest players have, because the quest is easy to miss entirely. It starts when an Eternal Guard you kill drops a mysterious emblem. Seven Oathbound (Valen Duroc, Lucien Lafontaine, Étienne Vauclair, Jean Pierre Polnaire, Severin Susse, Adrien Casell and Bastien Beaufort) each carry an emblem, and the item text says the small stone pyramids that go with them are recovered from fallen Eternal Guards too.
Collect all seven emblems and the seven pyramids. Assembled, the pyramids form the Mysterious Stone Slab, which the item text calls a key connected to the ruins of the old castle. Two letters fill in the rest: A Letter from Bastien Beaufort in City of Orphans (near Tribunal Square) and The Codex of the Oathbound in the Fortress (near Courtyard). The quest ends in a hidden chamber of the castle.
Eternal Guardsmen are placed in ten regions, from one on The Battlefield to two in the Fortress and nine fencers in Napoleon's Prison, so kill every Eternal Guard you meet and check what it drops.
