How to beat Entity
Strategy built from the boss's data: which attacks to dodge, what it is weak to and how to open it up.
Entity, Voice of the Void, is the final boss: 5,000 HP, its own teleports, dashes and revolver, plus echoes of earlier bosses (General Lothaire, the Orphan and the Sphinx) that bring their signature attacks back. Its own Combo 1 (80) and Combo 5 are unblockable, as are the teleport gap-closer and many of the borrowed moves.
It has no elemental weaknesses. Its head takes 50% extra damage and its limbs less, and a critical attack after breaking its 700 posture deals 1,200 damage, the biggest critical of any boss. Lessons from the earlier fights apply directly: dodge the same red attacks you learned against Lothaire, the Orphan and the Sphinx.
- Watch for the red attacks: Combo 1, Melee Grab, Teleport Gapcloser, Teleport Away cannot be blocked, so dodge them instead of holding block.
- Avoid relying on Ignite build-up; it resists that damage type.
- Its head takes ×1.5 damage, so aimed firearm shots to the head pay off.
- Its posture pool is 700. Break it with heavy and parried hits, then land a critical attack for a fixed 1,200 damage (24% of its HP).
- It brings in other enemies during the fight (59 extra moves from summons); clear them quickly so they cannot flank you.
- It has a grab: grabs cannot be blocked, so keep your distance when it lunges in.
Recommended build for Entity
CalculatedWeapons, statuses, Ambers and Transmutations that fit this fight, from Entity's resistances and the hits-to-kill maths.

- Fewest firearm shots (level 10)

- ×1
- Ignite build-up resistance
- 60%
- Stasis
- 5 segments · 0% resistanceFull freeze breaks for 550 damage
- Posture → critical
- 700 → 1,200
Entity has no elemental weakness and resists 60% of Ignite build-up, and its phase records add 20% firearm resistance in both phases. Stasis works (no resistance, 5 segments, 550-damage break), and its modest 700 posture pool hides the biggest critical attack of any boss: 1,200 damage.
Its blockable combos cost 70 Endurance to block, and six of its own attacks are red (Combo 1 at 80, the 75-damage grab, the teleport gap-closer and retreat at 65, plus the Visceral Ability and a flamethrower), so lean on dodges and parries. The Claymore needs 50 light hits at level 10, against 84 for the Saber and 112 for the Rapier; a level-10 Musket needs 12 headshots. Napoleon's Prison and Entropy have no fast travel, so arrive with your weapons already upgraded.
Ambers: Dominatus turns the 1,200-damage critical into Health, Duellist's Focus widens parries against its blockable strings, and Warrior's Fury pays off on the echoes of earlier bosses it brings in.
Entity attacks and moves
Game dataEvery attack Entity uses, grouped into combos, with damage per hit and whether you can block it.

Phase 2 (3 attacks)

Damage is the base value per hit (bosses always fight at level 1, so no level scaling applies). Move names marked * come from the game's internal tags, because the game never shows attack names.
Entity's attack strings
Game dataThe combos Entity's AI chains together in each phase, hit by hit with damage. Red hits cannot be blocked or parried.
Phase 1: 5 strings

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Combo 1 A · 65Combo 1 C · 65 | 130 | — | 1 |

Phase 2: 3 strings

| 3 | Combo 4 A · 65Combo 4 B · 65Combo 4 C · 65 | 195 | — | 1 |
Damage is per hit before the placement level's multiplier. AI cost is the string's stamina_cost in the boss's behaviour data: the boss's own budget, not your Endurance. Move names are built from the game's ability tags (English only).

Entity's phases
Game dataWhen each phase starts and what changes: the posture pool and the resistances each phase record sets.
| Phase | Starts | Posture | Resistance changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 | Fight start | 700 | Firearms 20% (base 0%) |
| Phase 2 | Scripted transition | 700 | Firearms 20% (base 0%) |
HP thresholds are shown only where the phase record holds an absolute health value below the boss's maximum; other phases change on a scripted trigger, so no number is printed. Resistance changes compare the phase record's overrides with the base profile in the Resistances section.

Journal entry

The Entity so perfectly bears my likeness that it resembles a reflection cast into flesh. Every feature, every movement, every detail appears identical. It is proof that the plague's power may truly be limitless.
Yet imitation of the body is one matter, what lies beneath is another entirely. Did the plague merely recreate my outer form, or did it also shape the organs beneath the skin? And if it accomplished even that... then a far more dreadful question remains: did it also recreate the mind?
