What is the maximum comfort in Valheim?
Comfort level 25. You start at 1, being under shelter is worth another, and the best piece from each comfort group plus every ungrouped piece adds 23 more. A second chair or a second banner adds nothing.
Does comfort stack in Valheim?
Not within a group. Chairs, beds, banners, carpets and fires each form a group where only the highest piece counts. Pieces outside any group add their comfort individually.
How long does the Rested buff last in Valheim?
Five minutes at comfort 1, plus one more minute for every level above that. At the reachable maximum of 25 that works out at 29 minutes, which is the difference between a buff that covers a trip to the Black Forest and one that expires at the gate.
How close do comfort pieces have to be in Valheim?
Within 10 metres of where you stand, and you have to be sheltered for any of them to count. Shelter is worth a point by itself, on top of the one everybody starts with — so standing under a roof with nothing in it is already comfort 2, and a piece 10 metres and one step away contributes nothing.
Which piece gives the most comfort in Valheim?
Antler Throne, at 3. No other group reaches it, and because only the best piece in each of the 12 groups is counted, the rest of that group is decoration. The way to raise comfort is one more group, never one more chair.
