All 20 meads in Valheim with the base each one ferments from, the ingredients that base needs, how long the fermenter takes and exactly what the finished drink does. Mead is a two step process, and the ingredient cost sits on the base rather than on the drink you end up holding.

Valheim has 20 mead bases that ferment into finished drinks. Each base is brewed at a cauldron, then left in a fermenter before it can be drunk. The effect column comes from what the finished drink actually applies, not from its name.

Valheim Mead FAQ
How long does mead take to ferment in Valheim?
Forty minutes, and it is the same for every mead: the fermenter runs one fixed timer regardless of what you put in it. What differs between brews is the base you need and how many portions each one yields.
How do you make mead in Valheim?
Brew a mead base at a cauldron, then place it in a fermenter. 20 bases exist, and each produces a drink with its own status effect.
How many bottles does a batch of mead make in Valheim?
6, from every base but 1: Berserkir Mead returns 3. The fermenter takes a single base item and hands back the whole stack at the end, so the 40-minute wait buys the batch rather than the bottle — which makes a second fermenter worth far more than a second cauldron.
Why has my fermenter stopped in Valheim?
It is exposed. The fermenter measures the cover above itself and treats anything under 70 per cent as open air, and it needs a genuine roof on top of that. When either check fails it does not pause — it resets the timer to zero and begins again, which is why a half-built shed can leave a fermenter that never seems to finish.
Can you speed up fermenting in Valheim?
No. There is one duration in the game files and all 20 recipes share it: 40 minutes, every time. The fermenter burns no fuel and has no upgrade level, so nothing you build or carry shortens it. Brewing faster means owning more fermenters, and they are cheap enough that most bases end up with several.
