Status Effects
All 97 status effects in Valheim including the 7 Forsaken powers, each with the numbers behind it. The game shows you flavour text and an icon but never the actual figures, so the buffs, debuffs, mead effects and set bonuses here are decoded from the effect data itself.

A few effects exist at several levels. Each level carries its own complete set of values, so the numbers shown are totals for that level rather than amounts that add to the level below it, and only one level is active at a time.
Valheim has 97 status effects, including 7 Forsaken powers. The list covers buffs, debuffs, mead effects and armour set bonuses, each with what it actually does rather than just its name.

Valheim Status Effects FAQ
What are Forsaken powers in Valheim?
There are 7 Forsaken powers, one per boss, activated by hanging that boss’s trophy on a sacrificial stone. Only one can be active at a time.
How many status effects are in Valheim?
97 in total, covering buffs, debuffs, mead effects and set bonuses. Mead and set-bonus effects were previously hard to list because the game stores them as references rather than inline values.
Do Forsaken powers have a cooldown in Valheim?
Yes, and only one can be active at a time. You choose a power at a sacrificial stone by holding the matching boss trophy, it runs for its duration, and then it has to recharge before it can be used again. All 7 powers work this way, which is why the choice is about the fight you are walking into rather than a permanent build decision.
Do status effects stack in Valheim?
Rarely. Most of the 90 non-power effects replace an existing copy of themselves rather than adding to it, which is why drinking a second mead of the same kind wastes it. Different effects do run alongside each other, so a resistance mead and a stamina mead are both live at once — the limit is on duplicates, not on variety.
How do you remove a status effect in Valheim?
Mostly by waiting, and the timer is on the effect rather than on you. The environmental ones — wet, cold, freezing — clear when the condition that caused them does, so a fire and a roof solve more of this list than any item will. Poison and burning run their full course whatever you do; the counter to those is the resistance mead taken before the fight, not a cure after it.
