Valheim has 69 trophies, 8 of them from bosses. Each is linked to the creature that drops it through that creature’s own drop table rather than by name, because several trophies do not follow the naming pattern.

Valheim Trophy FAQ

How many trophies are there in Valheim?

There are 69, of which 8 come from bosses. Boss trophies are the ones you hang on a sacrificial stone to gain that boss’s power.

What are trophies used for in Valheim?

Most are decorative and mount on item stands. Boss trophies are the exception: they unlock Forsaken powers at the sacrificial stones near the spawn.

What are the drop rates for trophies in Valheim?

Low, and flatter than people expect: 33 of the 69 sit at 10 per cent. That is the number to plan around — a trophy wall is a long project, and the creatures you need most of are rarely the ones you fight most often.

Which trophies are guaranteed in Valheim?

12 of the 69 drop every time, and that covers all 8 boss trophies. Bosses were never meant to be farmed for their heads, so the game simply hands them over — everything else is a roll taken fresh on each kill.

Why will a trophy not drop in Valheim?

Because it is a roll, not a counter. Most trophies are around 10 per cent per kill and the rarest, Neck Trophy, is 5 per cent. Nothing in the drop code remembers how many you have already killed, so a hundred kills without one is unlucky rather than broken.
