Where does Vile spawn in Valheim?
In Plains the game rolls for one every 4,000 seconds with a 25% chance, up to 1 alive in a zone at once. Valheim worlds are seed-generated, so there is no fixed location: the rule is what is fixed, not the place.
Can you outrun Vile in Valheim?
Not in the water, which is where you meet it. Vile swims at 3 against your 2, so it closes on a swimmer the whole way and there is no version of that swim you win. Get back on a boat or onto land — on a boat you outrun it easily; in the water you do not.
Can Vile be staggered?
Yes. Landing 30% of its maximum health inside one window staggers it, which is the opening a parry is for — parry damage counts towards that figure, so the two combine.
Where do starred Vile spawn?
More than 2,000 metres from the centre of the world. Inside that radius this rule only ever spawns the plain version, which is why a long-settled first base never sees starred ones.
