How it generates
Each run starts at the entrance and attaches rooms from its themed pool of 83 until it reaches the room count or runs out of connectors, which is why two of these in the same world share a theme but not a layout.
Room contents are not readable from the game files: rooms are referenced by asset GUID from scene bundles the asset manifest does not index, so the chests and spawners inside a given room cannot be listed here.
Shares its room set
Howling Cavern does not have its rooms to itself. Every room in Valheim carries the list of dungeons it may appear in, so two generators can draw from overlapping pools — which means clearing one of these is most of the way to having seen the other.
Howling Cavern generates in Mountain and the world attempts 3 placements of it. A run assembles 10 to 64 rooms from a pool of 83, built from the world seed, so the theme is fixed but the layout is not. Room contents are not in the readable game data, so what is inside any given room has to come from playing it.

Because it is drawing from the same rooms. Frost Caves share part of its room pool, which is why the corridors feel familiar even though the layout is generated fresh each time.

The chests and spawners live inside the individual room prefabs, which the game references by a GUID that is not in the shipped asset index — so we do not list a loot table here rather than guess at one. What we can say is the biome it sits in, which decides the creatures, and the rooms it draws from.
