How the comparison works
CalculatedEvery number is the game's own data or simple arithmetic over it.
- Damage per hit is the weapon's damage at the chosen level (the Blunderbuss: its per-shot cap, every pellet hitting).
- Light and charged attacks multiply that damage by the first attack's multiplier in the weapon's first combo chain (blades only).
- Damage per clip = damage per shot × clip size; reload and shot interval come from the firearm data.
- Catalysts to max = every material a merchant sells at its cheapest price; Legendary materials are never sold.
- Upgrade traits, Ambers, coatings and the stat board are not included.
At level 1 the Musket hits hardest (150 per hit); at level 10 it is the Blunderbuss (350). Among the blades the Claymore starts strongest with 50. At level 1 the Rapier hits for 25 vs the Saber's 20 (25% more per hit).
