SpoilerShow Napoleon Bonaparte's story
Napoleon is the man whose banners William follows. Early journal pages are near-worship: the Emperor's armies advance on a power William barely understands, his soldiers' endurance is spoken of with awe and fear, and William counts himself as proof that something beyond discipline drives them.
After William's betrayal, Napoleon spares his life for the moment on Maria Walewska's advice and leaves him in prison to await judgement. The Oathbound codex adds the darker side: the Seven were Eternal Guards who refused the 'Purple Vial' that turned their comrades into monsters of war.
