This Slay the Spire 2 Defect relic tier list ranks the 30 relics with enough recorded data by their win rate when carried as the Defect, grouping them into S, B, C, D and F tiers. Unlike the all-classes ranking, every placement here reflects how each relic performs specifically in Defect runs — so a relic that is only average overall can be a top Defect grab. Tiers use the same percentile method as the rest of the site: the top 15% by Defect win rate are S, the next 15% B, and so on down to F. Right now the strongest relics for the Defect — the S tier — are led by Data Disk, Punch Dagger, Bag of Marbles, with Data Disk holding the highest Defect win rate at 66.7%. Use it to decide which relics to take on a Defect run, build around the ones that actually win for the class, and recognise the low-tier picks. Win rates update as more Defect runs are recorded.
